Muhammad Mahtab Alam received M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Aalborg University, Denmark, in 2007, and Ph.D. degree from the University of Rennes1 (INRIA Research Center) in 2013, He did his postdoc research in the Qatar Foundation funded project Critical and Rescue Operations using Wearable Wireless Sensor Networks from Qatar Mobility Innovations Center during 2014-2016. In 2016, he has been elected as European Research Area Chair holder in cognitive electronics project and Associate Professor in Thomas Johann Seebeck Department of Electronics, Tallinn University of Technology. In 2018, he has obtained tenure professorship to chair Telia Professorship under the cooperation framework between Telia and Tallinn University of Technology. He has authored and co-authored over 55 research publications. His research interests include self-organized and self-adaptive wireless sensor and body area networks specific to energy efficient communication protocols and accurate energy modeling, Internet-of-things, public safety and critical networks, embedded systems, digital signal processing, and software defined radio. He is a principal investigator of NATO-SPS-G5482 grant as well as Estonian Research Council PUT-Team Grant.
Prof. Yannick Le Moullec

Yannick Le Moullec received the MSc (EE) degree from Université de Rennes I (France) in 1999 and the PhD (EE) degree from Université de Bretagne Sud (France) in 2003. From 2003 to 2013 he successively held postdoc, assistant, and associate professor positions at Aalborg University (Denmark). He then joined TalTech, where he first was a senior researcher (2013 to 2016) and is now a professor. He has supervised 9 PhD theses and 50+ MSc theses; he is currently supervising 5 PhD theses and 5 MSc theses. He is Co-PI for the H2020 COEL ERA-Chair project. His research interests span HW/SW co-design, embedded systems, reconfigurable systems, and IoT.

ALI MASOOD received his M.Sc. degree in Ad-vanced Electronic Systems Engineering from Uni-versity of Burgundy, France, in 2017. He was a Research Engineer at Inserm U1253 (Imaging and Brain), INSA Centre Val de Loire, Francefrom March 2017 to October 2017. Currently, Heis working towards his Ph.D. at Thomas JohannSeebeck Department of Electronics, School of Information Technology, Tallinn University of Technology. His domain of research is CooperativeDevice to Device Communication for Emergency and Critical Wireless Communication System.
