February 2021: Second Field Trials
POLIMI conducted the second field trials with the purpouse of acquiring Direction of Arrival measures using a 2×2 Array mounted on the Tarot X6 drone, 53 GB of data were acquired during this trial.

August 2020: First Field Trials
First field trials and experimental measurements have begun. The first iterations were conducted in the countryside of northern Italy.
December 2019: Face to Face Meeting at NUST
Members from all partners have presented the latest updates from their respective work packages in the face to face meeting at the National University of Science and Technology in Islamabad

Mahtab Alam, Rizwan Ahmad, and Maurizio Magarini presented the status of our CounterTerror project during the NATO SPS Cluster Workshop on Advanced Technologies – 17-18 September 2019 – KU Leuven, Belgium
May 2019: Visit to Eurecom
In May 2019 the teams of Polimi and TalTech have visited Eurecom’s laboratories in Biot. The purpouse of this visit, graciously hosted by eurecom, was to acquire expertise in the usage of SDRs and the OpenAir interface stack to make the first steps towards the development of an experimental prototype.
April 2019: First Face to Face Meeting
All the partners visited Tallinn university in April 2019 for the first Face to Face meeting of the project. During this period various meetings were held to publicize the project to key industry players as well as discuss the results so far achieved and lay the groundwork for the path ahead.
March 2019: Mahtab in Islamabad
In March 2019 Prof. Mahtab visited the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in Pakistan.
December 2018: Mahtab in Milan
In december 2018 Prof. Mahtab visited Politecnico di Milano (Polimi) to meet the italian partners of Polimi. During his visit he coordinated the efforts for this project together with Prof. Magarini and Prof. Reggiani. During his stay in Milan he also chaired in the committee for the evaluation of the thesis defnse for Ph.D. students of Telecommunication Engineering graduating that year.
